About

Run by someone who knows the business

JHS Logistics is owned and operated by Hamad Jibran from the Greater Toronto Area. Before starting JHS Logistics, Hamad spent five-plus years behind the wheel as a truck driver, so he knows first-hand what a good load, a fair rate and a reliable dispatcher look like from the driver's seat.

We started this company because owner-operators spend too many hours chasing loads, haggling with brokers and sorting paperwork instead of driving. Our job is to take that off your plate and keep your truck earning.

  • Direct line to your dispatcher
  • You approve every load
  • Transparent, upfront pricing
  • Canada & US lanes

FAQ

Common questions

What kinds of trucks do you work with?

We dispatch dry van, reefer and flatbed (including step deck) for owner-operators and small fleets. If you run something else, get in touch and we'll tell you honestly whether we can help.

Do I need my own operating authority?

Yes. You need your own authority and insurance to haul under your own name (for example, a CVOR in Ontario and an MC number for US lanes). We are a dispatch service, not a carrier, so you keep your authority and your independence.

How does payment work?

Brokers pay you directly for your loads; we never hold your freight money. Our dispatch fee is 5% of the truck's gross, invoiced weekly. The back-office admin package is a flat $250 per month.

Is there a long-term contract?

No long-term contract. We work month-to-month, and you can cancel with 7 days' notice.

What areas do you cover?

We book loads on Canadian and US lanes. We're based in the Greater Toronto Area, Ontario, and work with carriers anywhere in Canada who run cross-border or domestic freight.

What do I need to get started?

Typically: your operating authority documents, certificate of insurance, a W-9 or W-8 (for US brokers), a voided cheque or direct-deposit form for broker payments, and a signed dispatch agreement. We'll send you a checklist when you sign up.

Can I turn down a load?

Yes. We send you the details on every load before booking and you decide. We work around your preferred lanes and home time.
